ON-SITE IS FREE

FREE camping near Melvin is backcountry camping only, available July 1 - 5, 2022. No hook ups, water, electric, or sewer. There are no lights in the camping area. We will provide porta potties as restrooms and a 3-stall shower trailer for the tent village. A social fire pit will be available. Tent village will have no car access, walk in only. Tent village is available for camping only July 1st-5th. RV spots are first come, first serve in BLM land adjacent to Melvin.

All other camping adjacent to Melvin (BLM) is a 14 day limit. More information on BLM can be found here.

No fireworks are allowed in any camping area or the Town of Alpine, but please stay to enjoy the outstanding fireworks show Alpine has to offer on July 4th.

By checking here, you and your guests agree to read and comply with campground rules and regulations posted on premises. Including but not limited to: No individual campfires in tent village. No Fireworks. No weapons. Pets on leash only and picked up after. Be prepared in case of inclement weather.
